The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render services into the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it truly is alarmed with regard to the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a superior variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That SRD is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no completely functional office committed to service the SRD area every day. The provider issue produced for intervention encounters a sassa status check significant influx of probable beneficiaries, which makes it hard to the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more means to help the servicing of all clients and boost use of Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
